New Member and Volunteer Interest Meeting

The Board of the Friends of the Page-Walker invites you to join us for an Informational meeting on March 30th at 6:30 p.m. at the Page-Walker Arts & History Center to learn more about becoming involved in our mission to educate the community about Cary's history, advocate for historic preservation of historic properties, promote the cultural arts, and stand as guardians for the historic Page-Walker Hotel.

Special guest Harold Weinbrecht, the current mayor of Cary, will be making an appearance as the first mayor of Cary, Frank Page.  Board members dressed in period costumes will be your hosts at this meeting, where you will learn about volunteer opportunities, discover the benefits of being a member of our nonprofit organization, hear stories of Cary’s sometimes surprising history, and tour the Page-Walker. 

Light refreshments will be served.

If you decide to join us in our mission in some way, you can sign up on-site and quickly become engaged in specific projects as your schedule allows.
